Client
informed us that his property's main drain pipe has moved out of place and he
fears with next rain it will fall into creek down below.
1- First glance confirmed
that soil around pipe was washed.
2- Looking from below
showed that pipe has moved and tilting downward.
3- looking inside the
pipe showed at least two of the pipes have moved.
4- We started by removing
dirt from top of the pipes. Picture shows about 4 inches of movement in
first section piece.
5- Uncovering the rest of
the pipes revealed movement in section of pipe.
6- To begin, we
moved the first two pieces out of their place.
7-Then we removed soil
from around and under the pipes. we supported the pipe weights with concrete
cinder blocks.
8- We prepared base for a
facade that property owner
was going to add in future.
9- Final adjustments to
the pipes are made and rebars are being set.
10- Everything is ready
to for pouring concrete.
11- Concrete is poured,
12- Base for future
facade is being trawled.
13- After concrete was
poured, we waited 48 hours for curing.
14- Then we removed the
forms.
15- Mounted a plywood on
top of the pipes to hold the dirt in place and put a tarp under the pipe.
our part of project was finished. Property owner was going to install a
prefab facade and shoot.
