  Increasing Ceiling Height

Clients had a dining room with very short ceiling. They wanted to increase the ceiling height to same height of rest of their house.

1-This is how it was. Ceiling was so short that  a man could stand and touch the ceiling.

After some investigation, we discovered that low ceiling height is because of some electrical conduit passing through the ceiling.

2-We started the project with removing the ceiling and some parts of the room's wall. We rerouted the electrical conduits and removed buffering structure.
3-Then we closed the ceiling and walls beck
4-This picture shows the increase of ceiling height.

5- Finally we textured the room and repainted. This picture is taken just before painting the room.
6- After painting was done, we installed the light fixture and blinds.
